Coding Competition
CougarCS will be holding its second Coding Competition on April 23, 2010. The contest will be at the University of Houston in room PGH 232 from 12 pm - 3 pm.
To the basics: You will have 2 hours to program and submit as many problems as possible. You can have a team of 1 - 3 people, but only 1 computer per team. Problems will be submitted using an online submission program. Your computer is required to have the Java Runtime Environment installed to run the problem submission program.
You can code on Windows, MAC, Linux, or any architecture that supports Java. You will only be submitting your source code so the problems will all be compiled on Judge machines (running Windows).
Please bring an ethernet cord for your computer!
Competitor Requirements:
- Must attend the University of Houston or any of its affiliate University's.
- Must be a registered student of either undergraduate or graduate status
- Must be a Computer Science major or have at least significant experience and practice in programming.
